Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her first fame was her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred with an established actor Anil Koopor. Her next film was the movie Dil where she starred alongside Aamir Khan. As a young teenager in Mumbai's middle-class, she learned to dance. She ventured into acting as young and fought for a few years as many of her early films were flops. Eventually she became one the biggest actresses of Indian film. Following her marriage she had an absence from the industry before returning to the film industry. Recently, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated in 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India awarded to Dixit. Social work by her is well-known.
